Honor Society welcomes new members

Phi Kappa Chapter of Kappa Delta Pi honor society held its induction ceremony on Thursday. There were 15 new inductees, including four undergraduate and 11 graduate students.  

The mission of Kappa Delta Pi is to sustain an honored community of diverse educators by promoting excellence and advancing scholarship, leadership and service. 

The new inductees are as follows: 

Dale Elmore, Elementary Education major; Jodie Kaylyn Harrell, Elementary Education major; Anastasia Marie Hendley, Paraprofessional major; Amber Griffin, Secondary Mathematics Education major; Whitney Burch, MAT Elementary Education major; Melanie Davis, Secondary English Education major; Allison Eller, Curriculum and Instruction major; Brittany Fuller, MAT Pedagogy major; Joshua Miller, MAT Pedagogy major; Alexus Parker, MAT Pedagogy major; Joshua L. Ryan-Jenkins, Curriculum and Instruction major; Taylor Renee Spencer, Early Childhood Education major; Samantha Thomas, Elementary Education major; Glenda L. Williams, Master of Education in Elementary Education with Reading Endorsement major and Tonya Hawthorner Welch, Teacher Leadership Endorsement major.
