Thomas University Increases Enrollment
Post Published On:Thomas University has set a new record for its largest enrollment in school history.
There are 1,524 students enrolled for the Fall 2023 semester, an increase of 6% from Fall 2022. Both new and returning student enrollment increased over the prior year.
“We are very excited to assist even more students in achieving their educational goals”, stated Susan Backofen, Vice President for Enrollment. “Both our on-campus and online enrollment have increased. All our faculty and staff work very hard to provide the personalized service and classroom experience for which TU is known.”
TU’s exponential growth is in contrast across the country as most colleges and universities are grappling with a decline in its enrollment levels.
TU’s students come from 34 states and 19 countries to take courses in one of TU’s three schools: School of Arts and Sciences, which consists of all on-campus classes, and in its School of Professional Studies and School of Graduate Studies, which are both completely online.
TU continues to expand its military-affiliated student body as well. “We have experienced great success and have expanded our support to offer college football as a military transition mechanism,” Stephen Ferguson, Vice President of Military and Corporate Relations,” said. “I am ecstatic about the enrollment growth, especially the current Fall 2023 Term, as this caps 5 years of consecutive growth among this population of students. As a military dependent myself, I have always made it a priority to ensure our institution’s policies and programs make sense for military families. Our efforts have resulted in TU being named the #1 Most Military Spouse Friendly College and the #2 Military Friendly College in the Country”
TU offers associate, bachelor’s, and graduate degrees as well as non-credit training and certification preparation.
