Honor Society Welcomes New Sigma Theta Tau Inductees
Post Published On:Thomas University’s held its Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing Phi Tau Chapter Induction ceremony on Tuesday, April 23.
Six nursing students from the Division of Health & Sciences were inducted, which included two undergraduates and four graduate students.
Undergraduate students must have completed ½ (one half) of the nursing curriculum; achieved a 3.0 or higher GPA, rank in the highest 35 percent of the graduating class, and meet the expectation of academic integrity.
Graduate students must have completed ¼ (one quarter) of the nursing curriculum; achieved academic excellence of 3.5 GPA or higher and meet the expectation of academic integrity.
The inductees into the Sigma Theta Tau Honor Society are:
Nanette Cannon from Valdosta, GA, Bachelor of Science in Nursing; Courtney Hawkins from Havana, FL, Bachelor of Science in Nursing; Dori Griffin from Whigham, GA, Master of Science in Nursing; Geraldine Hall from Midway, FL, Master of Science in Nursing; Becton Roddenberry from Tallahassee, FL, Master of Science in Nursing, and Marie Tomlin from Cairo, GA, Master of Science in Nursing.
