DESCRIPTION:
Thomas University an independent, not-for-profit, institution of higher education with undergraduate and graduate programs in Thomasville, Georgia seeks applicants for a full-time Coordinator of Internships & Partnerships, beginning June 1, 2022. This position is responsible for coordinating early field and clinical experiences for Division of Education students and works in collaboration with the Division Chair and the Coordinator of B.S. and M.A.T. Initial Teaching Programs to develop mutually beneficial partnerships with PK-12 schools and community agencies.
TYPICAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum of a master’s degree (Ed.S, Ed.D, or Ph.D. preferred).
Demonstrated knowledge and experience with educational supervision and evaluation, teaching/learning processes, and instructional strategies.
More than three years of successful PK-12 school experience.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and exhibit good judgment in making decisions concurrent with University policy
Ability to build relationships and work cooperatively with all constituents

Coordinates
with Vice President for Enrollment and Director of Marketing to ensure

Monitors and

follow up.
Works
closely with enrollment support offices to ensure students complete the
enrollment process (financial aid, student accounts, student success).

The Night Hawk Review is Thomas University’s annual literary arts journal. It features original poetry, short fiction, essays and literary nonfiction by students, faculty and staff. The journal also includes contributions of photography and visual art. The Night Hawk Review is published each spring semester, and a release party is scheduled for the end of the academic year. This event features readings by contributors to the journal, as well as a guest poet. Submissions of both creative writing and artwork are reviewed on an ongoing basis throughout the year. Students are also involved in the editing and layout of the journal. The RSA Grant Project Assistant is responsible for confidential documentation management and working closely with the Project Director, federal contacts, RSA Scholars, and TU staff involved in the grant functions.
Major Duties
Manage documentation
Build a spreadsheet of all grant Strategies, Measures, and Responsibilities related to the Project Assistant and update compliance efforts monthly.
Maintain work time log.
Ensure RSA Scholars sign all required documentation at required intervals.
Collect the driver’s license or passport for each Scholar, proving US citizenship.
Upload all student documentation into the Payback Information Management System (PIMS), including all demographic and financial reports at required intervals, usually each semester until RSA Scholar graduation or exit from the RSA grant program.
Keep all scholar contact information up-to-date, in PIMS and as hard copies in our files. This process is done each semester for each Scholar until graduation or Scholars exit the program at which time, RSA federal contractors follow-up with work obligations and/or financial repayment.
Ensure quarterly and annual reports are filed in a timely manner, complete, and uploaded on the correct database.
Quarterly reports provide the federal RSA office with a narrative report of meeting grant outcomes, Scholar graduations, Scholar drop outs, those in qualified employment, and those in repayment as well as providing a budget report.
An Annual Performance Report is made that explains in detail how the goals and objectives have been met, or are being met, as well as any changes that have been made to enhance our Grant performance. This report also includes the expectation of progress for the remaining portion of the federal fiscal year and preparing those for the following year’s Annual Performance Report.
Data Collection
Follow each Scholar through their program with
Obligation tracking (excel spreadsheet)
Manage demographic data
RSA Scholar recruitment
Work with Project Director to engage in recruiting activities such as developing announcements, meeting with Vocational Rehabilitation (VR) offices, setting up booths at conferences.
RSA Scholar onboarding
Based on data, anticipate openings in the grant based on graduation or exiting of current RSA Scholars.
Provide each Scholar with paperwork clearly explaining their work obligation upon graduation or exiting the program.
Provide each Scholar with information on their financial obligations incurred if they do not choose to work in qualified employment that is acceptable to the RSA.
Send new RSA Scholars with a Scholar Agreement, Memo, and an RSA Checklist to further explain all benefits and obligations of the scholar.
Notify the TU Business Office to release funds each semester once all documentation is complete and RSA Scholars are ready for the semester.
Be available to answer Scholar questions or concerns throughout the program.
Notify fieldwork placement Coordinator each semester of all the current RSA Scholars so that they can fulfill their course requirements of practicum and internship with proper RSA approved placements.
Attend meetings
Attend federal webinars related to the RSA grant.
Attend quarterly meetings with RSA Scholars.
Attend quarterly meetings with federal Project Manager.

The VA Work Study will provide assistance to the Thomas University Veterans Services and Career Transition Center. Candidates must have thorough communication and listening skills, work ethic, and genuine desire to assist stakeholders with acquiring the services and support offered through the center. Responsibilities:
Assist with administrative tasks associated with recruiting and retention of undergraduate and graduate Veteran students into TU degree programs
Maintain the TU Vet Center daily operations
Assist with preparation of reports to the Associate Vice President showing all recruitment and retention activities, outcomes, and follow-up procedures used to increase inquiries
Open and close TU Vet Center based on approved hours
Maintain the physical appearance of the center
Connect students with the appropriate service and/or resources
Collect all necessary paperwork for processing education benefits

Thomas University, Georgia, U.S.A. is seeking to hire nursing faculty members to teach Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) courses in our BSN cooperation programs in China in Spring 2018 (March to June 2018) and Summer 2018 (May to June 2018). Thomas University is granted approval by the U.S. and Chinese governments and its accrediting commissions to deliver the RN-BSN cooperation programs at its partner universities campuses in China.
Qualifications:
A registered nurse who holds a Master’s degree in Nursing from an accredited U.S. or other western university/college is required.
The applicant must be a licensed registered nurse from one of the United States and committed to quality nursing education.
Earned doctorate in nursing or a related discipline is highly desirable.

This position reports directly to the Housing Manager. He/she oversees the daily operations of the Resident Assistants (RAs) as it relates to university housing and its operations. This position is a ten-month appointment. The director must have the ability to work efficiently with the RAs and provide them guidance when needed. This position requires 24/7 vigilance. This is a live-in position, which requires the RD to live in one of the university dorms
Responsibilities:
