All foreign transcripts must be accompanied by a professional evaluation (foreign credential review). It is the student’s responsibility to procure this evaluation and to assume financial responsibility for it.The foreign credit evaluation should include an explanation that the institution is recognized by the ministry of education in the home country and is generally considered to offer at least the equivalent of U.S. higher education credit. In addition, it should include an explanation of the credits, the grading system, and course levels. A course-by-course evaluation for all post-secondary work is required. The report is not binding to Thomas University and will be considered a recommendation for independent decision of the credit to be given.
Please note: It may take 2-6 weeks to obtain a credit evaluation. Because of the importance of this information, Thomas University accepts evaluations from (but does not limit to) the following institutions of proven reliability:Educational Perspectives
