Fieldwork Faculty
DESCRIPTION:
Thomas University, an independent, not-for-profit, institution of higher education in Thomasville, Georgia with undergraduate and graduate programs, invites applicants for the position of Fieldwork Faculty. The position requires teaching Master’s level fieldwork courses in a Master of Science in Counseling program with four specializations – Clinical Rehabilitation, Clinical Mental Health, Addictions, and School Counseling. This program is fully online and CACREP accredited. Reporting to the Program Director of the Master of Science in Counseling, the position is a remote, online faculty appointment with no administrative duties. The positions are grant funded on Health Resources and Services
Administration- Children, Adolescents and Young Adults (HRSA-CAY), two year cycle. The MSC program at TU is committed to experiential learning, extensive clinical training, and the use of creative, progressive, and applied approaches. TU has been educating counselors for many years and has a network of alumni throughout the country.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Earned doctorate in Counselor Education & Supervision or equivalent.
- Demonstrated experience teaching graduate fieldwork (Practicum, Internship I and Internship II) courses.
- Expertise teaching online.
- Professional credentials (e.g., NCC, state licensure, CRC).
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Knowledge of CACREP standards and program evaluation.
- Commitment to racial, social, economic, and environmental justice.
- Successful experience working with diverse student populations.
- Expertise in online pedagogy specific to clinical training programs.
