Military Spouses

Thomas University is an approved participant in the MYCAA program. We offer Certificates, Associates degrees and Licensures that meet the requirements and guidelines detailed by the Spouses Education and Career Opportunities program. The MYCAA program offers military spouses assistance with paying for certification and licensure programs. For additional information, please visit Military OneSource.

Students are also eligible to apply for federal financial aid by completing the Financial Aid application. You can find out more information regarding financial aid on our website.

To reduce the length of time and cost to complete a program of study, you may receive up to 30 combined hours of credit for approved courses toward a Bachelor’s degree or 15 hours toward an Associate of Arts degree through any of the following:

• College Level Examination Program (CLEP) subject examinations
• Defense Activity for Non-Traditional Education Support (DSST/DANTES) or
• Advanced Placement (AP) program

• Apply for admission
• Schedule a meeting with your advisor to select your courses.
• Submit your transcripts from all prior institutions.
