Thomasville Singers to present ‘Lift YOUR Voice’ Dec. 13

Post Published On:

Like many other performing ensembles, Thomasville Singers ended their spring 2020 season in March without a culminating concert. Fall 2020, however, offered the opportunity to make music in new ways. To make up for lost musical moments, selections in their Dec. 13 concert will lift up the voices of those who were once silenced, said M. Nicole Davis, conductor of the Thomasville Singers.

The Lift YOUR Voice concert will be livestreamed at 4 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 13, at www.facebook.com/actu31792/live. No Facebook account is required to view.

This concert will include portions for the audience to sing along with the choir. These uplifting, easy-to-learn songs will be introduced during the concert to create a community singing experience. The concert will also feature songs chosen by individual choir members as they share stories about their personal journeys this year, Davis said.

This performance is supported in part by Georgia Council for the Arts through the appropriations of the Georgia General Assembly. Georgia Council for the Arts also receives support from its partner agency, the National Endowment for the Arts. This project is supported in part by an award from the National Endowment for the Arts.
