Top Business students inducted in Honor Society

The Thomas University chapter of Sigma Beta Delta International Honor Society held its induction ceremony online on Thursday, April 27.  

There were 14 members inducted in Sigma Beta Delta, which recognizes Business, Management and Administration undergraduate and graduate students who are in the top 20 percent of their class. 

The new members vowed to exemplify the meaning of the Greek letters: Sigma, Beta, Delta.  

Sigma is the initial letter of the Greek word SOFIA (Sa-‘phe-ä), which means wisdom. Beta is the initial letter of the Greek word BEBAIOS (Be-‘bi-os), which signifies honor. Delta is the initial letter of the Greek word DIWKW (Di-‘o-ko), which signifies the pursuit of meaningful aspirations. 

The new inductees are: 

Laura Mican, Francisco Teixeira, Kayante Walton, Nissrine Bourbouh, Rivaldo Da Camara, Joshua Fedele, Robin Jones, Charles Jones, Yusuf Razzaq, Luis Rodriguez, Mallory Singletary, Jordan Thompson, Ahmed Vikstrom, and Joshua Ward.
