Welcome to Homecoming Week 2024
Post Published On:Night Hawk Nation’s school spirit will be on display as we celebrate Homecoming Week 2024 with the theme “Everything is Better GREEN!” starting Monday, November 4.
The week-long event will be filled with activities, music, food, drinks, and a clash between TU and St. Thomas University on Saturday, November 9 at noon.
Monday, November 4: Green Out on Campus – Students, faculty, and staff should display their Night Hawks pride by wearing green. Talon will also be taking a stroll around campus and making surprise visits to different classes.
Tuesday, November 5: Win TU ‘stuff’ at our inflatable game giveaway. You can also play a game of cornhole and more from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Forbes Campus.
Wednesday, November 6: There will be inflatables on campus and students can play a variety of games including cornhole from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Forbes Campus.
Thursday, November 7: See your favorite professors and coaches make a splash in the Dunk Tank between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. at the Forbes Campus. Inflatables will be on-site, and students can participate in different activities including an obstacle course, bungee run, cornhole, and more from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Forbes Campus.
Dunk Tank schedule:
Corey Porter: 10 a.m. – 11 a.m.
Professor Rich Curtis: 11 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Dr. Karl Barton: 12:15 p.m. – 1 p.m.
Stephen Ferguson (Vice President for Military Affairs): 1 p.m. – 1:30 p.m.
Dr. John Meis (Provost) 1:30 p.m. – 2 p.m.
Friday, November 8: Cook out!!!! Pep rally from 5 p.m. – 7 p.m. on Magnolia Campus. Come enjoy dinner with your friends, listen to the DJ (or sing along!) and get fired up at the pep rally!
Saturday, November 9: Plan to join us for our Homecoming game again St. Thomas University. We will also be celebrating Military Appreciation Day. Activities will include tailgating, inflatables, and games for the kids! Prior to the game, we will have a swearing in ceremony for TU students joining the military. Kick-off is at noon at Veteran’s Memorial Stadium in Thomasville.
